The Vtech Innotab 3s is a great value for money tablet, it used to be £100 but now you can buy it in places for as low as £30 for a set that includes re-chargeable batteries as well. The Tablet boasts a 5 inch touch screen and buttons around the screen to create an easy to use experience for toddlers and young children. The tablet is loaded with 4 GB of on-board storage to handle downloads from the Vtech app store, as well as this you can also expand memory through the use of a MicroSD card (up to 32GB). As well as an app store, there are also physical apps available to buy on cartridges from many good retailers, The 3s unlike the original 3 has WiFi built-in to allow for an internet browser and program that can communicate with parents smartphones via an App. To download apps from the dedicated app store however you must be connected via the supplied USB cable to the computer software provided and create an adult account that will link to your child’s profile in the tablet .

The tablet feels really nice in hand and has a strong frame made from a mix of rubber and plastic to protect it from the dangerous world of young children.

One major problem for adults will be the lag this tablet presents when being used. It is highly noticeable and can be irritating, however to a child, this is not too much of a concern and while my little boy is using it, he does not seem too bothered by this.

Overall this is a great child’s tablet and is also well received by my little boy, who right now as I’m typing this review is currently sat playing with it.
